I was laid off from my job a few weeks ago, and politely reached out to my local gym to let them know I could no longer afford the class. They referred me to a corporate email address, which sent me a generic auto generated email, stating my membership would not be cancelled if I was not injured and had a doctors note.
After this, I reached back out and the gym has now resorted to simply ignoring me. They will not answer my calls or even respond to my emails.
I will have to resort to taking legal action. I am baffled that they would teat customers this way and will NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE EVER.
